What It Feels Like to Float
During your experience, you will rest comfortably on a floating mat with a soft blanket as you are guided into a state of calm. From there, you will be immersed in a soothing sound journey designed to help the body soften, the mind become still, and the stresses of the day gently drift away.
Unlike a traditional sound bath, floating allows your body to feel supported and almost weightless. The gentle movement of the water, combined with layers of calming sound and vibration, creates an immersive experience that can feel both grounding and ethereal.

Registered Massage Therapist, Shaman, Certified Sound PractitionerI am a compassionate wellness practitioner whose journey began more than eight years ago when I became a Registered Massage Therapist. While studying and building my practice, I discovered that I was highly empathetic and sensitive to the energy of both my clients and the spaces around me. This awareness inspired me to begin a personal path of growth, self-discovery and healing, guided by both modern therapeutic practices and ancient wisdom.
Drawn to a deeper understanding of holistic healing, I trained under a shaman versed in the ancient Peruvian tradition of the Medicine Wheel. I completed the Medicine Wheel three times, culminating in a transformative journey to Peru. There, I spent 10 unforgettable days participating in ceremony and working alongside High and Master Shamans. I visited sacred sites, including Machu Picchu, and immersed myself in the teachings, traditions and energies of the Andes. During this journey, I deepened my understanding of shamanic practices and received High Rites from Master Puma.
Inspired by my experiences in Peru and my growing understanding of energy medicine, I continued expanding my practice by becoming a certified Sound Bath Practitioner. Through the therapeutic vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other healing instruments, I create immersive sound experiences designed to encourage deep relaxation, support emotional release and promote energetic balance and alignment.
By blending my knowledge of the body through massage therapy with shamanic healing and sound therapy, I offer a unique, heart-centred approach that supports the whole person—body, mind and spirit.
I believe true healing begins when we reconnect with our innate wisdom and create space for transformation. My intention is to empower each person I work with to rediscover their inner strength and embrace a life of greater peace, balance and authenticity.

Kind Words from our Guests
Wait...isn't Lazy Day a rafting company?
Since 2007, Lazy Day has been helping people slow down, reconnect and create lasting memories on Calgary’s Bow River. What began as a simple idea—making it easier for people to enjoy a beautiful day on the water—has grown into one of Calgary’s most recognized outdoor experiences.
Over the years, we have welcomed families celebrating milestones, friends reconnecting, visitors discovering Calgary for the first time and locals seeing their city from an entirely new perspective. Our greatest measure of success has never been the number of rafts we rent or the awards we receive. It is the smiles at the end of the journey, the stories people share and the knowledge that we helped create a moment they will remember for years to come.
That sense of connection has always been at the heart of Lazy Day. A float down the river offers something increasingly rare: time to pause, breathe, laugh and be fully present with the people around you. We have seen how powerful those moments can be, and they have inspired us to imagine new ways of helping people step away from the pace and pressure of everyday life.
For years, it has been our passion to expand into wellness experiences that carry forward the same care, creativity and commitment that built Lazy Day. Experiences designed not simply to entertain, but to restore, inspire and leave a meaningful impact.
Lazy Day Wellness is the next chapter in that journey. Through immersive experiences such as floating sound baths, guided relaxation and thoughtfully designed moments of connection, we are creating spaces where people can slow down, release stress and reconnect with themselves.
The setting may be different, but our purpose remains the same: to create unforgettable experiences that bring people joy, deepen connection and become part of the memories they carry with them long after the day is over.
