DIYs are back!
We’re thrilled to again offer DIY options for those who wish to travel and explore the waterways of our incredible part of the world.
All DIYs are neatly rolled and packed and will fit into standard-sized trunks.
All DIYs include:
- PFDs
- Safety kit (rafts and kayaks only)
- Paddle(s)
PLEASE READ
DIYs are quite different from our regular full-service options. To avoid disappointment, please note the following important points:
Location
Do-It-Yourself options are picked up from (and returned to) our Downtown Lazy Day Shop. They are not available at West Baker Park.
No Shuttle Access
Unfortunately, DIY rentals are not permitted on the shuttle bus, as they’re too large and bulky to transport that way.
We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you out on the river!
Lazy Day now carries two different types of kayaks:
Memba Pro Kayaks
The Aqua Marine Mamba Professional inflatable kayak is available in solo and dual options, offering smooth, stable, and effortless paddling for mid-distance recreational adventures such as those offered on the Bow River.
Ultra-durable and fit for multiple types of water exploring, these kayaks are perfect for travelers who enjoy mid-distance recreational adventures, and are constructed with an innovative, custom-made rigid drop-stitched DWF floor and inflatable air chamber, alongside extra-strong polyester for optimum strength, stability, and UV protection.

MRS Packrafts
We’re excited to introduce our new 2-person packraft, the MRS Nomad S1, to our fleet—a lightweight, durable packraft designed for adventure and comfort. This sleek 2-person raft is perfect for mellow river floats, offering both performance and comfort.
Perfect for laid-back river floats or sneaky escapes into
